SAFELOG at the SICK Solution World 2021
Headlined ‘digital transformation’, the event SICK Solution World took place on 6 and 7 October 2021 at the SICK Arena in Freiburg. The hybrid event had a lot to offer with talks on the main stage, presentations in the SICK Solution Zone Studio, a trade fair on digital transformation in the automation industry, and a hackathon that was held both live on site and online.
SAFELOG among Bavaria’s Best 50
Due to the corona pandemic the past two years have been very challenging, not only for SAFELOG but for companies worldwide. SAFELOG was therefore all the more pleased to receive the ‘Bavaria’s Best 50’ award from the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, State Development and Energy.
KNOLL Maschinenbau and SAFELOG now working in partnership
KNOLL Maschinenbau GmbH is a globally active manufacturer of conveyor and filter systems for swarf and cooling lubricants in metalworking and has been producing highly flexible assembly and transport systems for years. The partnership with SAFELOG has allowed KNOLL to expand its range to include automated guided vehicles and thus carry out complete intralogistics projects for its customers. The cooperation started with an AGV project at KNOLL’s headquarters in Bad Saulgau, Germany.
SAFELOG links up with NAiSE
Safety is the top priority for all in-company processes. The more participants are involved in intralogistical procedures and processes, the more complex the efficient and safe operation of the individual devices becomes. SAFELOG has entered into cooperation with NAiSE GmbH to safely integrate its automated guided vehicles into production environments with vehicles from different manufacturers.
SAFELOG AGV M4 – faster, stronger, better
The AGV M4 is the successor to our highly successful SAFELOG AGV M3 model. The automated guided vehicle is more powerful and flexible than its predecessor. Thanks to a specially developed brushless DC motor, the AGV M4 can handle towing loads of 1,500 kg and top loads of 1,000 kg.

Our AGV M3 and AGV L1 automated guided vehicles and our pick-by-light order picking systems are used in Factory 56 in Sindelfingen. This means we are contributing to smart and sustainable production in the largest AGV project in the automotive industry throughout Europe.

AGV product family receives RED DOT 2020 award for series design
Our AGV family won two (!) awards in the RED DOT 2020 competition. The international jury awarded the SAFELOG AGV S2, M3 and L1 the prestigious design prize for their series design and the company also won an award in the meta-category ‘Smart Products’, which was presented for the first time.
