The AGV L2 completes our SAFELOG AGV family as the most powerful mobile transport robot. The successor model of the AGV L1 combines all advantages of the new generation, starting with inductive charging technology, the electric scissor lift and the brushless DC drive motor. The mobile robot is recommended for pallet transport, G2P processes or use as an assembly platform.
Review: SAFELOG at the VDMA AGV Mesh-Up at automatica 2023
Under the motto “Mobile Robots in production”, the VDMA and SYNAOS GmbH launched an AGV Mesh-up at automatica 2023. Ten mobile transport robots from eight manufacturers were on the move in the 850 m² test area, demonstrating various application scenarios under the orchestration of the Synaos master control. SAFELOG was also represented on the test area with two robots of the type AGV S3 and AGV X1.
Review: SAFELOG at LogiMAT 2023
LogiMAT, the highlight of the intralogistics and process management industry, took place this year from Tuesday, April 25, 2023, to Thursday, April 27, 2023, as usual at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center. SAFELOG was also there with two new models of Mobile Transport Robots and a completely new booth concept in AGV Hall 6 to present itself to the trade audience. Record numbers of visitors and exhibitors as well as a high professional level characterized the event and already whetted the appetite for LogiMAT 2024.
SAFELOG at the VDMA AGV Mesh-Up 2023
On March 29 and 30, 2023 it was time for AGV Mesh-Up again in Hall 3 of the Dortmund Trade Fair. This year, for the third time, the VDMA hosted the live test event of the VDA 5050 interface as part of the IFOY TEST CAMP INTRALOGISTICS. While in 2022 the main focus was on demonstrating the orchestration and smooth parallel operation of several mobile transport robots from different manufacturers by a fleet manager, the setup in 2023 was a lot more challenging.

SAFELOG increases sales to 38 million euros
SAFELOG continues to grow – with 2022, we can look back on the most successful fiscal year in our company’s history. Sales were increased by 19 percent to 38 million euros and we were able to consolidate our position as one of the world’s leading AGV producers. The number of employees increased by 18 percent to 190.

More than 500 SAFELOG AGVs ensure the smooth transport of components to the production line, where assembly of the S-Class, Maybach and EQS subsequently takes place. More information is provided in the video.
TGW and SAFELOG form strategic partnership
Mobile transport robots are considered a key technology for future-proof intralogistics. In view of this development, SAFELOG and TGW Logistics Group have entered into a cooperation. Under the name Quba, SAFELOG’s various robot types complement the portfolio of the globally operating system integrator from Austria.
SAFELOG receives Mercedes-Benz Supplier Award 2022
Mercedes-Benz has honored SAFELOG for its outstanding performance in the area of quality. The company from Markt Schwaben (Germany) supplies Mercedes-Benz AG production facilities worldwide with mobile transport robots. More than 500 AGVs from SAFELOG are used alone in the Factory 56 in Sindelfingen.
AGV M4 wins readers’ choice ‘Product of the Year 2022’
In the third annual round of the popular reader poll conducted by the trade magazine ‘materialfluss’ (material flow), the SAFELOG AGV M4 was victorious. With a total of over 15,000 votes cast in the battle for the ‘Product of the Year 2022’ award, the mobile transport robot won first place in category 4 ‘AGVs and robotics’.
25 years SAFELOG
A quarter of a century, that’s a reason to celebrate. At least that’s how we had imagined it. Unfortunately we have to postpone the party until further notice, but we are getting older anyway. So a little review of the past 25 years is already allowed.
