The performance spectrum of SAFELOG’s mobile transport robots is rounded off at the top by the AGV L2. The self-developed electric scissor lift handles loads weighing up to 1,500 kg, and the device can also handle tensile loads weighing up to 2,000 kg. The maximum lifting height of the scissors mounted on both sides is 160 mm.
More compact dimensions for a wider range of applications
As with the other robots in the new generation of our mobile transport robots, we have also adapted the dimensions of the AGV L2 to ensure a broader range of applications. With a length of 1,200 mm and a height of 310 mm, and thanks to the omnidirectional travel mode, the mobile robot can be used very flexibly. The AGV L2 can make the most of these advantages, especially in confined spaces.
Process-adapted speed control
The DC drive motor enables speeds between 0.02 and 1.6 m/s to be realized. This makes the mobile transport robot suitable both for intralogistics transport tasks, where long distances have to be covered at high speed, and for use as an assembly platform, where the mobile robot moves at a constant slow speed so that the worker can follow.
Technology mix
For localization and navigation, we continue to rely on a hybrid solution. Magnetic track, odometry, RFID, camera, contour recognition and grid sensors are used for localization. Navigation takes place via a virtual track or, if necessary or desired, via a magnetic track. Free navigation in space is also possible. Through the interaction of the various methods, a positioning accuracy of up to +/- 5 mm can be achieved.
The AGV L2 is equipped with safety laser scanners in each direction of travel, which ensure reliable monitoring of the surroundings.
