Since 1993, compamedia has presented the TOP 100 award to particularly innovative small and medium-sized enterprises. The entries are evaluated and selected by the innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team on the basis of a comprehensive set of criteria for their innovative capability. SAFELOG impressed the expert jury with its extraordinary innovative agility and a multitude of trend-setting ideas in the field of intralogistics to become one of the winners in 2021.
“Our objective is to offer our customers flexible and intelligent solutions and to always have an open ear for suggestions for improvement,” explained Managing Director Mathias Behounek. “We are pleased that our expertise and innovative strength as a software-based system provider have been honoured by the expert jury with this award.”
TOP 100 criterion for innovative strength: repeatability
The researchers’ assessment is based on around 120 test criteria from five categories: top management that promotes innovation, innovative atmosphere, innovative processes and organisation, external orientation/open innovation and innovative success. The jury pays special attention to the repeatability of innovative achievements. Through the continuous further development of our hardware and software solutions, we impressed the experts with our innovative strength and our goal of continuous improvement.
Science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar acts as a mentor
On 26 November, all winners of the TOP 100 this year will be congratulated by Ranga Yogeshwar at the 7th German SME Summit in Ludwigsburg. The science journalist has been acting as a mentor for the innovation competition for ten years.
