How often do mobile transport robots need to be inspected?
Our mobile transport robots are generally low-maintenance. As no oil or other fluids need to be added, there is no need for extensive maintenance work. To make the operation of your fleet as reliable as possible, you should only observe regular maintenance and cleaning intervals.
However, the annual inspection by the DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) is mandatory. As part of our service contracts, we are happy to carry out the DGUV inspection regularly and on time.
Alternatively, you can arrange the statutory inspection for moving machinery by the DGUV yourself.
Regular care and cleaning increases reliability
To ensure that your mobile robots continue to function optimally in the long term, we recommend that you carry out regular care measures and simple maintenance work yourself.
For each model in our AGV family, you will receive a manual with relevant information on function, service and care.
Among other things, you will find a practical maintenance schedule with recommendations on the maintenance cycles of the AGVs and further tips on cleaning the appliances.
The relevant checklist in the maintenance schedule shows you when cleaning should be carried out. For example, regular cleaning of the safety scanner is essential to prevent faults caused by dust. You can easily clean it with a commercially available microfiber cloth.
