Fulfillment centers are increasingly faced with the challenge of picking and shipping large quantities of goods in the shortest possible time. Efficiency and precision are required – especially in areas where space is limited and conventional transport solutions reach their limits. This is where the SAFELOG GT1 spin comes into its own: With a height of just 275 mm, the mobile robot can drive under and lift out a large number of shelves and bring them safely to their destination.<\/span><\/p>\n

High load capacity and speed<\/h2>\n

A scissor system provides a lift height of up to 70 mm and reliably lifts loads up to 1300 kilograms. Another feature is the integrated turntable, which allows the load to be rotated independently of the robot. This saves valuable time when positioning racks and optimizes workflows. With a speed of up to 2.2 m\/s with load and 3 m\/s without load, the GT1 spin can quickly transport goods to their destination. Additional flexibility is provided by the differential drive, which allows the robot to turn on the spot – ideal for use in narrow aisles and with frequent changes of direction.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to its compact design (1200x830x275 mm \/ LxWxH), the GT1 can be easily integrated into existing logistics systems without the need for costly adjustments to the infrastructure. This is particularly important for brownfield projects with fixed trades. Combined with its high payload capacity and speed, the robot helps to make the flow of goods in fulfilment centres faster and more efficient. Like all SAFELOG mobile robots, the GT1 operates with an agent-based control system that does not require a central control station. The vehicles communicate with each other independently, coordinate their routes and tasks, and adapt flexibly to changes in the process. Thanks to this decentralized swarm approach, the system remains efficient even in the event of a malfunction, as only the affected vehicle fails while the rest of the fleet continues to perform its tasks. Like all SAFELOG devices, the SAFELOG GT1 supports the VDA 5050 standard.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
