The goal of the RoX collaborative project<\/a>, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE)<\/a>, is to develop a digital ecosystem. This ecosystem aims to facilitate or enable the use of innovative AI-based robotic solutions in various practical applications and industries. Manufacturing companies, as well as the logistics and service sectors, will particularly benefit from the project’s results.<\/p>\n

Potential of AI-based solutions not yet fully tapped<\/h2>\n

The use of AI-based robotic systems holds tremendous potential for strengthening industries that rely on the high efficiency and flexibility of robotic systems. In the coming years, significant growth rates are expected in the robotics market. To fully harness this potential, the RoX project<\/a> aims to elevate robotic systems to a new level of performance through advanced robotics components, artificial intelligence (AI), and a digital ecosystem. To develop a scalable digital ecosystem for AI-based robotics, RoX<\/a> focuses on integrating practical solutions into development and application environments, providing quality-assured software components and AI models, as well as designing semantic models and metadata structures. Ensuring data security within the robotics ecosystem and linking with international initiatives are also integral parts of the project. A sustainable organizational structure guarantees that the developed software components, semantic models, and the digital ecosystem will be available and continuously improved beyond the project’s end. This way, RoX<\/a> will make a significant contribution to the future of AI-based robotics and sustainably enhance the innovation capacity of the participating industries.<\/p>\n

About the RoX project<\/h2>\n
