A quarter of a century, that’s a reason to celebrate. At least that’s how we had imagined it. Unfortunately we have to postpone the party until further notice, but we are getting older anyway. So a little review of the past 25 years is already allowed.<\/p>\n

SAFELOG’s approach has always been to optimize existing processes and products and to find new solutions. The very first patent, our picking system for error-free picking by means of removal monitoring using a 2D laser sensor, followed this guiding principle. In the following years, our eye for unconventional solutions in close cooperation with our customers and partners often opened up surprising perspectives and opportunities for new developments.<\/p>\n

This has led to a large number of demand-oriented intralogistics solutions to date. In automation, which has found its way into many production areas and in-house processes and is still doing so, we also saw the opportunity to contribute our know-how on optimized processes. As early as 2014, we therefore began developing our own AGV product family<\/a> and brought the devices to market maturity within a short period of time. The portfolio currently consists of 3 series models, the AGV S2, the AGV M4 as well as the AGV L1 and we have many more ideas and innovations in the pipeline.<\/p>\n

Mit der Factory 56 betritt Mercedes-Benz Neuland und realisiert in Sindelfingen seine Produktion der Zukunft und damit die erste smarte Autofabrik, die komplett unter Industrie-4.0-Gesichtspunkten geplant wurde.<\/p>

SAFELOG erhielt den Zuschlag zur Umsetzung dieses gr\u00f6\u00dften europ\u00e4ischen AGV-Projekts in der Automotive Branche. Die innovative Produktionshalle zur Fertigung der S-Klasse wurde von uns mit 440 AGV, kombiniert mit \u00fcber 200 Pick Anlage best\u00fcckt.<\/p>

In der Factory 56 werden die zu montierenden Teile zentral in der Halle und fahrzeugspezifisch in sogenannten Pickzonen kommissioniert. Transportroboter bringen die jeweils ben\u00f6tigten Teile dann gem\u00e4\u00df Anforderung in spezifisch vorkommissionierten Warenk\u00f6rben direkt an den Ort der Montaget\u00e4tigkeit am Band. Diese Organisation der Teileversorgung erm\u00f6glicht einen hocheffizienten Montageprozess und sichert gleichzeitig den Verbau der richtigen Teile am Fahrzeug ab.
