Due to the corona pandemic the past two years have been very challenging, not only for SAFELOG but for companies worldwide. SAFELOG was therefore all the more pleased to receive the \u2018Bavaria\u2019s Best 50\u2019 award from the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, State Development and Energy.<\/p>\n

Good crisis management impressed the jury<\/h2>\n

Disrupted supply chains, hygiene regulations, an unpredictable order situation and a shortage of resources are just some of the challenges that have had to be overcome during the corona pandemic. A jury of experts from the auditing firm Baker Tilly GmbH & Co. KG identified candidates who had dealt with the crisis in an impressive way from among some 8,000 medium-sized companies in Bavaria. Together with 49 other medium-sized companies, SAFELOG impressed the jury with its effective crisis management.<\/p>\n

Commended for sustainable business success<\/h2>\n

A decisive factor in winning this award was SAFELOG\u2019s sustained corporate success as well as its continued growth both in terms of sales revenue and number of employees over the past five years. Despite the volatile situation, the company increased sales in the pandemic year 2020 by 12 percent compared to the same period in the previous year. The management considers the quick reaction to the challenges of the crisis to be the main reason for the company\u2019s continued successful growth. The company did not fall into a state of shock, but consistently stuck to its planned strategy under difficult conditions. The focus was on the development of new AGV models<\/a> and the further optimization of the company\u2019s own software modules.<\/p>\n

Mit der Factory 56 betritt Mercedes-Benz Neuland und realisiert in Sindelfingen seine Produktion der Zukunft und damit die erste smarte Autofabrik, die komplett unter Industrie-4.0-Gesichtspunkten geplant wurde.<\/p>

SAFELOG erhielt den Zuschlag zur Umsetzung dieses gr\u00f6\u00dften europ\u00e4ischen AGV-Projekts in der Automotive Branche. Die innovative Produktionshalle zur Fertigung der S-Klasse wurde von uns mit 440 AGV, kombiniert mit \u00fcber 200 Pick Anlage best\u00fcckt.<\/p>

In der Factory 56 werden die zu montierenden Teile zentral in der Halle und fahrzeugspezifisch in sogenannten Pickzonen kommissioniert. Transportroboter bringen die jeweils ben\u00f6tigten Teile dann gem\u00e4\u00df Anforderung in spezifisch vorkommissionierten Warenk\u00f6rben direkt an den Ort der Montaget\u00e4tigkeit am Band. Diese Organisation der Teileversorgung erm\u00f6glicht einen hocheffizienten Montageprozess und sichert gleichzeitig den Verbau der richtigen Teile am Fahrzeug ab. Die Produktion bleibt dabei hochflexibel und kann schnell auf neue Anforderungen
