We can allow ourselves to be a little bit proud. The smallest member of our AGV family, the AGV S2<\/a>, has made it onto the winners’ rostrum with its smart features being awarded the GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2020 in the category ‘Excellent Product Design Industry’. We are pleased to take note of this and will calmly continue to do what we do best – developing solutions for error-free order picking and internal transport – lean, intelligent and award-winning.<\/p>\n

The AGV S2<\/h2>\n

Whether alone or in a swarm, as the most compact transport robot in the SAFELOG fleet, the AGV S2 demonstrates its performance especially in complex intralogistics processes. The agile device can turn on the spot and carries out precise transport jobs even in the narrowest aisles of production and storage facilities. Its strikingly designed front has a signalling feature, with illuminated \u2018eyes\u2019 indicating status and direction of travel. A user-friendly positioned touch display serves as user interface.<\/p>\n

About the GERMAN DESIGN AWARD<\/h2>\n

The GDA’s jury is made up of design experts from business, education and science as well as the design industry. The German Design Award is presented by the German Design Council, the German brand and design authority. Its mission, which comes from the highest authority, is to represent the German design scene. Established in 1953 as a foundation on the initiative of the German Parliament, it now supports the international business community in consistently achieving brand value through design. This makes the German Design Council one of the world’s leading professional centres for communication and brand management in the field of design.<\/p>\n
