Our mobile robots are networked via Wi-Fi using the IntelliAgent software and communicate both with each other and with peripheral systems. These typically include elevators, lift tables, fire protection doors, transfer stations, and conveyor technology.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Peripheral systems are integrated into our system via interfaces and can interact with the swarm. Just like with the vehicles, key information can be retrieved and exchanged.\u00a0The result is seamless interaction between various devices and systems. PLC integrations are possible, for example, via OPC UA or Modbus.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>While Modbus is a simple and open protocol that is easy to implement, OPC UA is more advanced. It enables enhanced services such as data modeling, increased security, and real-time communication. This allows for standardized access to machines, devices, and other systems.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>If no PLC is available, peripheral devices can also be connected via a SAFELOG XS controller. On one hand, it offers potential-free contacts and the ability to connect peripherals via the industrial ASi bus. On the other hand, it can be accessed via Ethernet through the IntelliAgent network.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span> Good to know: Potential-free contacts can transmit yes-no statements, and this works for any electrical system.
