SAFELOG at the SICK Solution World 2021

Headlined ‘digital transformation’, the event SICK Solution World took place on 6 and 7 October 2021 at the SICK Arena in Freiburg. The hybrid event had a lot to offer with talks on the main stage, presentations in the SICK Solution Zone Studio, a trade fair on digital transformation in the automation industry, and a hackathon that was held both live on site and online.

SAFELOG had a stand at the trade fair and participated in the hackathon. The opportunity to talk to SAFELOG representatives in person was enthusiastically taken up by visitors to the trade fair and exhibitors alike.

Solution Valley:
SICK Solution World online

For online visitors to the trade fair, who followed the event in the virtual environment of the ‘Solution Valley’, short video clips were produced in which the exhibitors presented their products. For SAFELOG, Rik Lipgens, Head of Sales & Business Development, answered questions from the video team to explain the features of our AGV S2.

Panel discussion:
The current and future roles of mobile transport robots

During a panel discussion, SICK Executive Board member Dr. Tosja Zywietz and SAFELOG Managing Director Mathias Behounek shed light on intralogistics in the industrial environment and the current and future roles of automated guided vehicles.
